Description
The TorQ Percussion Quartet wrote and performed Light Years / Dark Matter based on various space-related themes. The multi-movement performance took place spatially distributed around an audience, with four movements. Richard's movement was called Gravitation Waves, the sounds of two black hole colliding. Jamie Drake's movement was influenced by Carl Sagan and the Golden Record. Dan translated Saturn into sounds, and Adam contributed a soundscape representing his childhood dreams of space travel.
