Welcome to the Library's Online Exhibitions
The Library’s Online Exhibitions showcase research conducted across Laurier. Each exhibition follows a methodological approach rooted in digital best practices. This Library-managed resource offers faculty and students an alternative creative solution to telling stories and creating stand-alone exhibitions that highlight their research and topics of interest.
Online Exhibitions is not a digital collection, or a place to store digital media, but a careful selection, curation, narration, and consideration of researched archival items. Each exhibition presents a thoughtful display of digital objects (e.g. images, audio, video, etc.), organized around a target audience and a clear and focused research topic. The exhibitions are meant to be thought-provoking presentations for those who visit the site. For those who contribute to the site, the process will expand their knowledge of digital exhibits and the collaborative efforts needed to work in a creative environment.
